There are some general techniques for pruning and then there are specific techniques for the types of plants, shrubs, or trees that require pruning. Sometimes the backyard garden doesn't work for everyone.

You can also spray repellants for example; mix water with hot pepper onto plants will make them unappetizing to the wildlife that enjoys them.

Pesticides are very harmful to the butterflies. Give a plant what it needs to grow, in terms of sun and shade. Not enough herbicide will result in poor weed control, while too much herbicide will result in damaged gardens.

Using the proper amount of fertilizer will keep your plants looking a healthy dark green. Now get gardening.
