Who doesn't know its bright yellow flower head that is made up of hundreds of tiny florets? Gardeners made use of these tools regardless of how cumbersome they may have been.

Choosing the right type of garden will be the first order of business. This plan describes which perennials should be placed in the front row, back, row or middle row. Plan early enough in the season what you want to bring in when the temperatures start to fall.

Do you want a climbing rose or one that is more of a fragrant ground cover? When gardeners think of ground covers, the goal is to cover barren ground, control erosion, and/or suppress weeds. The first thing to consider is where on your deck or patio you would like your garden.

Planting a vegetable garden is a wonderful use of a sunny back yard. A good rule for watering is to check the soil and if it is dry then add water.
